A newly certified Carpentries Instructor
In May and June I underwent the Carpentries Instructor Training program and check out process - culminating in receiving my certification.
The Carpentries is an international organisation that teaches foundational coding and data science skills to researchers around the world.
I recently contributed to my first workshop as an instructor, presenting a live coding lesson in using the ggplot2 package in R to visualise data. Thanks to REANNZ and the University of Otago for organising this event, which had 40 participants from around New Zealand. Looking forward to teaching in future workshops around R, shell/Unix, data visualisation, and more!
