A finalist in the 2025 Tūhura (Otago Museum) Photography Competition!

Excited that one of my photos was selected as a finalist in the 2025 Tūhura Photography Competition!

The competition received over 9,000 entries across four categories: Wildlife, Botanical, Landscape, and Wild Aotearoa.

My photo was taken last year at Enderby Island - part of the Auckland Islands group in the New Zealand sub-Antarctic zone. It shows a moment in the busy lives of the Southern Royal Albatross that nest on these islands.

Thanks to all who support the Tūhura Photography Competition. The exhibition (free entry) runs at Tūhura / the Otago Museum until July 19th - drop in and have a look at some sensational shots.
